What stays where

  • The team service stores plans and comments. The chat with Claude stays on each planner's machine.
  • It never calls Claude and never sees anyone's Claude login.
  • Tokens and sessions are stored only as hashes.
  • Doan itself stays open source and local. Unlink a project and nothing more leaves your machine.

Questions

Does the team service use my Claude subscription?

No. It never calls Claude and never sees anyone's login. Each member plans with Claude Code on their own subscription; only the plan is shared.

What do teammates need?

A browser to view and comment. Only the people who plan need Claude Code and doan.

Can we self-host Doan Team?

No. Doan itself is open source and runs on your machine; the team service runs only on our cloud, so there's nothing for you to operate.

What happens if we cancel?

Nobody is removed and nothing is deleted. The team drops back to 3 seats, so no one new can join until you subscribe again.
